Steve has recently joined NTE as Client Services Manager. His role is to develop NTE’s portfolio of technology solutions and develop our relationships with key technology providers to deliver the best possible products and solutions to all our clients and Partners.
Steve is also responsible for making sure that we keep our focus as a team on providing solutions that make a real, tangible difference to your business, and working with the sales team to serve our existing clients and build a strong pipeline of new opportunities for the future.
Having worked for NTE previously back in 2013, he is very much a part of the team and we are delighted to have him back to further develop the IT side of our business.
Steve holds almost 25 years of IT experience to date. His passion for computers and IT began at an early age with his family’s very first computer being imported from the USA. In 1979, it arrived in kit form, and had to be built up from scratch. Steve was fascinated and from then on, he was hooked! Much later, he completed a City and Guilds computing course and began his career teaching people how to use computers, before moving into technical support with IBM, supporting business applications and token ring networks. However, whilst at IBM, he moved into technical pre-sales and has subsequently worked for many of the well-known local IT Systems Integrators in various Sales and Account Management roles.
“NTE is a great company, made up of great people, which is heavily invested in doing the right thing for employees and clients, with a really positive outlook.
At NTE, we work with each of our clients in a bespoke manner to determine what they want to achieve. Our aim is to provide them with reliable technology solutions to simplify their IT systems and add real value to their business long-term.
In this new role, I’m looking forward to finding out which areas of technology are currently most troublesome for our clients and aiming to formulate new and easy-to-consume IT services to solve their business pains.
I believe that technology should be an enabler for business. However, if businesses are given bad advice or make the wrong technology decisions, this causes them to change their perception and view technology as just another cost, and something they resent. So our aim is very much to change that perception and make technology a help rather than a hindrance.”
